Trade with the DRC, knowing who you're dealing with.

Every company listed on TradeInDRC was reviewed by our team before going live. Here is what we check, what we publish, and what is left for you to verify.

Before you sign or pay, make sure the company you are dealing with is in our verified directory. Each result leads to its trust report: level, checks performed and badge validity.

How a company earns its badge

Verification is carried out by the TradeInDRC team, before anything is published, then every year.

  1. Sign-up

The company creates its account and fills in its profile: activity, sector, address and representative.

  2. Documents

It submits its official papers: registration, tax registration, operating licence and proof of address.

  3. Review by our team

We check that the documents are authentic and consistent, then contact the representative. Every file is handled as quickly as possible.

  4. Badge and public report

The company receives its level and a public trust report. The badge is valid for one year, then renewed after a new review.

Four levels, specific checks

Each level includes the checks of the one before. The level awarded is shown on the company's profile and on its trust report.

  • A badge is valid for 12 months after our team's last review. After that, the report reads “Renewal in progress” until the new review.
  • The Premium verification level rests on additional checks: a site visit and an independent audit. It is separate from the Premium membership, which adds visibility in the directory but no checks.
  • The Sponsor level includes every Premium check and also marks out the partner companies that support TradeInDRC.

What the badge guarantees, and what it doesn't

A badge is not insurance. It tells you who you are dealing with; the business decision remains yours.

The badge guarantees that…

  • The company legally exists and our team reviewed its official documents.
  • Its address and contact details were checked.
  • An identified representative answers for it.
  • Its profile information was reviewed before publication.

The badge does not guarantee…

  • The quality of every delivery or the conformity of every lot.
  • The company's solvency or financial health.
  • The outcome of a transaction or a commercial dispute.
  • That the prices offered match the market.

Reading a trust report

Every verified company has a public report, linked from its profile. It comes down to three pieces of information.

  1. The verification level and the date of the last review.
  2. The checks performed, with their outcome.
  3. The badge's validity date; past it, the report shows that renewal is in progress.
